Aniimo Egg Heist is the Season 1 Part 2 PvP mode where three teams fight over one Legendary Giga-Egg, and the official notice calls it “currently in testing”. Reach character level 50, win the match and every member of the winning team gets a Giga-Egg.

This page follows the notice line by line: who can enter, how a match is won, what stays outside the arena and what the prizes are.

Every row below comes from the update notice, so the mode is described the way the developer wrote it.

How a team wins an Egg Heist match

A match turns on the Egg itself. A team that keeps Twine with the Egg builds up an activation value, and the match ends at 100 percent or when time runs out.

Either way the same rule picks the winner: whoever is in Twine with the Egg at that moment.

How the match ends Who wins
Activation value reaches 100% The team currently in Twine with the Egg
The match runs out of time The team currently in Twine with the Egg

What you can bring into the arena

Nothing from your normal build carries over. The notice says there are no equipment loadouts and no items to carry in, and the stats of your deployed Aniimo are balance-adjusted.

Item In Egg Heist
Equipment loadouts Not used
Items from your inventory Not carried in
Deployed Aniimo stats Balance-adjusted

Entry at level 50 sits below the starting caps of 65 for characters and 60 for Aniimo, so you don’t need a maxed account. The level cap guide covers how those caps rise.

Aniimo Egg Heist rewards

The main prize is another egg. Each member of the winning team gets one Giga-Egg, which guarantees an Umbral Egg with a small chance of a Prismana Egg.

Reward How you get it What it does
Giga-Egg Each winning member gets 1 Guarantees an Umbral Egg, with a small chance of a Prismana Egg
Reward Chest A team reaches a certain activation value A chance at season Collectibles
Collectible Blind Box The Golden Egg challenge Guarantees a season Collectible
Basic Berserker Chip Egg Heist Shop Damage to nearby enemies restores your HP

Challenge quests in Egg Heist and Egg Heist Team Mode also feed the season challenge. The island setting has its own write-up in the Whisperwake Isles guide.

Challenge a friend: the Spar feature

Egg Heist is not the only way to fight another player. The update also adds a duel you start yourself, and it is a team battle, not a one-on-one.

The notice describes an invitation to the battle and never calls it a 1v1.

Where Egg Heist fits in the update

Egg Heist is one change in a larger release. The Season 1 Part 2 patch notes list the rest. Players new to the game can start with how multiplayer unlocks and the codes, tier list and map post.

Verdict

Aniimo Egg Heist is a level 50 PvP mode where three teams chase one Egg, the team in Twine with it wins and each winner takes a Giga-Egg. It is in testing, so the rules above are the test rules until the developer says otherwise.
